I am looking at upgrading to HyperFibre. must of the "Routers" supplied by the Providers are Single 2.5G WAN port to plug into the ONT Then WIFI to other devices.
But most of my devices are Hard Wired. Only my phones are wifi.  Also HyperFibre and only using WIFI devices is kinda pointless.

I do have a nice Netgear Orbi already with a single 2.5G port I can use in AP mode. But is there a nice HyperFibre Router that doesn't have WIFI and has 1x 2.5/10G WAN and 1 or more 2.5G (or10G) LAN (RJ45)

Prefer it not to have any WIFI at all if possible

In fairness to the OP it is 2 years since its sticky post was last updated.  I appreciate they could have asked for the thread to be unlocked.

Edited: Updated to be more clear

I recently went with HyperFibre 4000/4000 and got this CF60. It has a 10 Gigabit WAN port and a 10 Gigabit LAN port. You can disable the Wireless if you don't want to use Wi-Fi 6E.

Works excellently.

Mine is connected to the QNAP Switch and a few of these 2.5 Gigabit Switches

Which Mikrotic unit will make this work?

Is CF60 easy to setup to work on 2degree?

(Sorry I am not knowledgeable around this…)

RB5009 would probably be the lowest of the consumber range. Plenty of the CCRs woukd be OK.

Thanks would ONT plug into 10g then 2.5 to switch then distribute to PC/wifi mesh etc?

Just realised that the unit I ordered actually comes with router function.

I will see if I can make this work as this can solve all my problems by the looks of it. I hope I can 2degree hyperfibre setting on it properly…

Yes, no setup required. Plug into power socket, connect WAN port to ONT, connect LAN port to network, turn on.

It is set up as IPoE VLAN 10 out of the box, no configuration needed.

Interesting little device, please report back on performance and how you like it.

That is cool, and the most common configuration out of all the ISPs

I had a Purple unit for 2 years and had zero issues. Is a fantastic unit for security and monitoring. It had minor issues with upload speed reducing so I contacted them and they are currently sending me a brand new unit.

In the mean time I ordered gold SE to utilise 2.5gb properly.. not knowing I will run into this issue - as I work remotely for hospitals / radiology - having secure and fast connection will be vital.

In the meantime ordered CF60 and will return it if I can get Firewalla to do all the things I want well.

CF60 was the best solution for me as advised it was a plug and play solution.

Getting very good speed through.

Not sure how to interpret median latency of 10ms. I think that’s upload and download.

PC was getting about 1700/1400 when tested during peak hours yesterday evening while other things were happening.

Asus XT8 mesh - 600/400 in master bedroom. About 4m from a node. Very happy with it.
