Hi! I have (like it seems every other person in the world) a bluetooth problem.
I just purchased an h2215(wich, bluetooth problem aside, is awsome) and have read the guids hear (great guides) but I'm still a bit confused.
I would like to be able to connect to the internet without active sync (more than one ppcs are synced from the pc with the cable internet)
When I came to the Internet Protocol Properties, entered the IP Address as 192. 168 . 1 . 10,
and Subnet Mask as 255. 255. 255. 0, and on my PPC for the bluetooth connection settings i used 192. 168. 1 . 9, and Subnet Mask 255. 255. 255. 0. My friend told me the IP address for the bluetooth adapter and PPC could be 192. 168. 1 . 1 through 192. 168. 1. 255 ( I think) but when I try to connect on my PPC it never connects, the devices (my pc and PPC) are paired and find each other, but they never connect, it stays at the connecting screen forever until i cancel it. However on my PPC when I use 192. 168. 0 . 1 it will connect, but I cannot access the internet.
Also what do I put under DNS server? My friend told me it had to be your computers IP address.
I'm sorry if this sounds confusing or doesn't make since, I'm not too tech savy, but If you can't make sense of this, I'll try to reword it.

The guides have this clear, and there is a checkilist where this is discussed. The IP address for your Bluetooth adapter on your computer must be 192.168.0.1 if you're using ICS. You can enter the DNS addresses from your ISP in that configuration too.

You don't need to enter anything on your Pocket PC, except for doing the connection from the Bluetooth Manager. If you have anything on Bluetooth NDIS Adapter, please remove.

You have to make sure there is no personal firewall software blocking these communications, and you may have to run \windows\welcome.exe on your Pocket PC to create a couple of configuration files - sometimes we delete these because of their strange names in the \ folder, but they're used by Pocket Internet Explorer.

This should be a start .

Thanks for the reply!
I have done all of this and it still does not seem to work, PIE and MSN Messenger still give me "This page you are looking for cannot be found."

I don't have Bluetooth NDIS Adapter on my PPC, but I have returned everything under Connections to defult.

Any sugestions?

Check that you don't have any other device on your network with the same IP address. If you're using Windows XP try Bridge instead of ICS. And check if you don't have a personal firewall like Zone Alarm or Norton Internet Security running.

Well I've changed some setting and now it works like a charm! Thank you so much!
One last problem though, how do I get ZoneAlarm to allow my PPC to access the internet?

You'll probably have to change to medium or minimum security settings. OR put in the "learning" mode to make it ask for permission. Then you set the Allow as default.
