hope that works.  Found Opera will work but Firefox on Windows and Linux wouldn't let me paste the link.  And Internet Explorer 11 keeps coming up with security certificate problem and not recommended to go to site.  So hopefully got there

Hard to read that pic but it looks like there are a few APS on the same channel. Change hours to channel 1.

Matt.

Thats looking like you have two wifi networks on the same channel there.
However the geekzone website downsizes large images - have to use a website like tinypic.com to host the file. Because its been downsized, i cannot see the picture clearly enough

hi, just an update. I have my speed back.  I am averaging 11MB/s transfer between server and computers over wifi.  Even reached 13 at times.
I regularly monitored with wifi analyser and noticed most of time my modem used channel 6.  Also there were 5 or 6 others regularly using that channel.  Where all signals come from I dont know as not that amount of houses near us.   There is a motor camp but that is 300 meters away.

Anyway right or wrong I changed the channel on my modem from auto to manual and have it on channel 12.

Thank you for the help

just be careful that you don't get connection problems as certain devices will not connect to channels 12 and 13. You are probably safer on channel 11, as that is adequately separated from channel 6.

yeah I was aware of that and knew all my devices accept channel 12.  Had thought about channel 13 but  from what I gather my laptop wont go to channel 13
