Alright, thought i'd dig up this old topic rather than create a new one.

My PCMCIA card has been working great but theres a few things I wan't to clarify.

I'm hoping to get myself a bluetooth headset at somepoint and also a bluetooth mouse.

Would the USB dongle that comes with something like this: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/productdetails.aspx?pid=032
work with the headset and my K700 for modem, file browsing and remote control?

Thanks

Nope, it won't work with a bluetooth headset, because it uses the Microsoft Bluetooth software, and this still doesn't support the headset profile. A much better alternative is the Logitech Bluetooth desktop/mouse products.

Alrighty then...

I assume that the microsoft ones would still do everything I can currently (IE: connect with cellphone for modem) but would the microsoft one work for the file browsing and remote control functions of the K700 as well?

Or I could be completely wrong and the microsoft one would ONLY work for the keyboard/mouse.

??

Thanks

The Microsoft stack will allow file transfer - but not browsing. You'll be able to use the remote control on the k700, since it's based on HID profile. And you can use the mobile as a GPRS modem.
