Anyone know how to find the more detailed stats page on the hg659 router? Have looked through everything but it seems to limit the information you can view.

Yes the cabinet is a right mess. I wouldn't even know where to start with it tbh.

@LTPC if you have a ADSL2 splitter on a VDSL connection you need to get this sorted first

So that is definitely an ADSL splitter in that cabinet? I had a feeling the chorus guy was talking bs when he said a VDSL splitter was already installed but given I have no idea what I'm looking at he could've told me anything and I would've believed it.

DSL information from the router below:

so you have had an uptime of 4 days, at 11mbit sync.

10mbit on speedtest sounds right, dips down to 1mbit tells me there is alot of upstream traffic on your connection.

This could account for speedtests dipping low, i'd expect about 22mbit downstream.

That certainly looks like an ADSL2 splitter, and the line characteristics confirms the likelihood.

Switch it out. look at inside the network for the source of your poor tests compared to 22/10 expected best speedtests.

Definitely unplug the security camera recorder. The fact that plugging it in caused your internet to go slower is another sign that hackers are remotely controlling it.

Also are you doing the speed tests via WiFi or Ethernet?
