Using a 2nd router in a network as a dumb AP or switch is one of those things in life that works, but that you should never do. Ultimately it always leads to tears.
OK, factory reset, plugged it onto a laptop in liu of my PC and worked via 192.168.1.1, changed the IP to be 192.168.1.210 and went back to the diagram above.
My PC connected to it, turned off DHCP server, wifi worked but my PC didn't get the internet?
Any idea? I'm essentially trying to use it as a WIFI extender. I have access to a second Vodafone Ultra Hub if that's a better router to use as a WIFI extender?
all you need to to to have to work as a wifi extender is turn DHCP off, setup the SSID etc, and then plug the lan port of the device to the lan port of your router.
but you still havent told us what the device is
name of your wifi network
