For those flush cabinets, look at codes HWS-PPB and HBK-1001

Jase2985:

I have my Router and ONT in the cabinet shown in the picture above, in a cupboard close by i have a network switch, patch panel and an UPS. with the intent on having a NAS and NVR in there too, later on down the track

here is the cupboard, using the shelf with the Rack mounted patch panel and the one below it for other networking stuff if i need the space.

you could go with a wall mounted cabinet, you just need to work out how big you need it and how you are gonna get the cabling elsewhere in the house.

That's what I'm thinking. Easier to do in a new build with a bit of detailed planning I suspect

All mine was done in a new build garage. and that cupboard was put there for the specific purpose of holding that stuff. 5 of those network cables run back into the detached house for the networking inside. The rest are for the garage/lab

Here's mine - both in the max height Dynamix cabinets available. Have various cable distribution boxes in different parts of the house so have 1 cabinet dedicated to equipment only:

From top to bottom:

  • Fibre ONT
  • Sky TV Box
  • dual HDMI over cat6 (for sky)
  • Mini-ITX i3 system with 2.5" HDD for CCTV + other uses - pico PSU with 12v input
  • Unifi 8 port gigabit switch
  • Mikrotik router
  • Modified Computer PSU with barrel connectors installed for 12v and 5v with voltage and current draw screens.

Example of 1 distribution box - all using cat6a:
