A set of two TP-Link Deco M4 mesh units is currently $174 at HN.  They are reasonably fast when you have Ethernet backhaul, and offer good roaming between units.  We've been pleased with ours anyway

Based on my experience you will be very happy with them.

You will also need 2 PoE injectors, or a cheap PoE switch. I used the Unifi Network Desktop App on our Mac to configure them, then you can just forget about them, once configured, or tinker with settings if you enjoy doing that sort of thing.. There is also a Mobile app you can use, but bit more limited than the desktop app. I have set transmit power for 5 GHz to high, and 2.4 GHz to medium to encourage good roaming, and then obviously separate channels for both APs. I have ended up setting 40 MHz channel width for 5 Ghz as it seems to be more reliable, and has stronger signal strength, compared to 80 Mhz width. The difference in real world speeds between the different channel width actually isnt that much.

Thanks! I picked up a pair of these injectors - https://acquire.co.nz/p/ubiquiti/networking/poe-injectors-splitters/ubiquiti-8023af-supported-poe-injector-u-poe-af-5125725/

Learning about all this new networking stuff over the last 24 hours has been intense. Had never heard of POE before.
