If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.
kiwiharry: I purchased my X20's from TradeMe as unused units, so unsure of their original source.
But my hardware model is X20(NZ-V) Ver 1.20
Ramblings from a mysterious lady who's into tech. Warning I may often create zingers.
Thanks Harry. Did you update it via the Tplink Android app or IOS? and if so can you tell me the App version number.

Oh well, weird that it doesnt offer me any new update despite checking in multiple different ways.
Guess ill have to wait it to appear.

nothing came up for me too
if its firmware ver 2.0.6 Build 20240115 Rel. 55945
it would of been available in january 15 2024 by the date code
Same here. Voda X20 plus a couple of extra units added via Trade Me.
Mega happy, works brilliantly.
The firmware is 41671, and no update is available via the app. Edit - App is android
Apsattv:
Ive done a reboot of both deco x20 units then checked again in the app. Still nothing, are you sure that you are not using a different hardware revision? Has anyone else managed to update? I've also logged into the Deco via the webbrowser interface and checked there, but still no updates available.
Can anyone else confirm that they are using a Deco X20 supplied via vodafone/one that are being offered firmware 2.0.6 Build 20240115 Rel. 55945 when checked via the app?
It’s under System>Update Deco. Yes mine updated to the 55945 and confirm they are X20 from Vodafone.
My Deco App is via Apple. Not sure if having an android app makes a difference to which updates available.
Batwing: There should be an easy path to factory firmware for when ISPs lag behind,
especially for security updates.
In the tplink web interface you can upload the new firmware locally. If you have the firmware file.

That's if they can have it for download
Yes, and that's what we are trying to figure out. As some said its available for their X20 , while others don't see it available.
Maybe Vodafone/ONE had some X20 units that were newer revision hardware but the same model 1.20?
Can someone who has managed to update to the later version just check the sticker underneath the deco to see if there is a revision number.
V1
V1.20
V2
V3
V4
are all revisions of the Deco X20
Mines Ver 1.20
