My SWG LAN port died (finally figured it out after a couple of days of telco/UBQ support). Decided to go the Lite and regretted it almost immediately. My Cloud Key couldnt adopt it and therefore would have needed to upgrade my cloud key...which is now $600.

The best option is to spend $10-20 more to get the UCG Cloud Gateway Ultra. Its fantastic and has the cloud key built in (which you should back up off the device) but its been awesome. That saved me having to upgrade my Cloud Key.

Thanks. I do also have the Ultra sitting here as well, unused, but it is physically bigger than the Lite - which is a problem for me and swopping out with the edgerouter x. My wall cabinet is carefully/frustratingly full, and I wanted to keep everything inside it. However, might rethink because using the Ultra would also enable the "site magic" WAN stuff, which could be handy for me.
