It will only work if the problem is indeed with your USB device, not with any other software configuration - I can not guarantee anything.

I have a USB on-board and a second PCI USB and my Bluetooth adapter work ok with both.

Good to known it was the USB adapter all along. You see, even though a USB adapter works with some devices it may not work with all devices. IT is a problem because we can only know it if a new adapter is installed.

But good to see it works for you now.

Glad to hear that my solution of replacing with a new PCI USB Slot works.

Anyway., I have heard that, this problem is with many AMB 'ASUS" based mother boards and rarely some low quality/priced Intel based mother boards.
