Or look on trademe... even with shipping there a plenty for under $10; both 1320 and 1320v6. Buy 2 or 3, see which one works best and keep the others as spares since they apparently overheat and quit working after 1-2 years. ;-)
Hmm.. not sure I'm keen on a "consumable" modem. I'd be looking for a device that shouldn't need replacing for a few years.
I've had mine for quite a while, but in full bridge mode for most of that time. Whenever I have problems it turns out to be the netgear router, not the dynalink.
I think I'm running into a similar issue, where I'm suffering stability issues due to our router. I decided to go with the Draytek Vigor 120 paired with an Apple Airport Extreme. While this initially brought much needed stability to our infrastructure, over the last couple of years I've experienced frequent issues, which I suspect may be the fault of the Airport. From what I can tell, it occasionally decides to reboot, losing both Internet and wifi connectivity.
I also lose connectivity whenever the phone rings, but I'm not sure if the Airport is at fault here, or whether it is a Draytek or phone line issue. When this happens, the lights on the front of the Airport tend to suggest it is rebooting, but that may be a red herring. Unfortunately the logs surfaced by Apple do not provide enough diagnostic information to confirm for certain that this is happening.
