Kodiack: .... They'll be mailing the modem soon, and we should have a technician out in a few weeks...

Kodiack: Yes, actually, there has been a lot of progress! I *think* the modem arrived (I'd have to check with the landlord), but I'm not sure when the technician will be out. However, that's not what's important right now. What is important is that I finally sorted out Internet usage and got people to properly set up their torrent clients (if they use them) so that seeding doesn't kill the entire network. The connection is far better-performing and more reliable. I haven't had any notable issues within the last week.
The VDSL upgrade will simply be the icing on the cake at this point. I still can't wait for the UFB rollout, though!

i hope thoses who torrent on the connection, have learnt a bit about how to properly configure a client to be able to share a connection. more people need to learn this.

out of interest, what do you mean by configuring it to share the connection?
do you just mean only seeding/downloading at certain times or?
