RunningMan: What is file transfer speed like to something on the lan?

Using that program Jase suggested, the upload and download speeds were consistently ~10Mbps. No significant drops in speed occured.

they should be faster than that, even on a 65mbps (wifi n) connection you should get about 40mbps

Thanks everyone for your help. I finally heard back from Dlink after 3 weeks and they sent me an update for the firmware (one i didn't have access to previously) and that seems to have fixed the problem.
