Purely by coincidence I saw the same combined power supply + 12V UPS units available from Altronics. They're a bit pricey, and you'd need either relatives in Aus to forward them or pay for shipping to NZ (not sure what the cost will be). OTOH it is a convenient one-step UPS replacement for a wall wart. Alternatively you can get this unit, which takes a 12V 7A SLA and turns it into a 12V UPS. Looks kind of ugly though, I'm guessing its meant for things like security cameras and alarms.
