Jorn, you can try making it work but I'm sure you will fail. I have also used the previous versions of the Widcomm stack with various different hardware and it worked, but the latest version is tied to the BD address of the dongle.

Good luck!

D-link and TDK currently have the 1.4x drivers available. Try their sites...

perl62,

I recently purchased a TDK Bluetooth PC card and have been searching the TDK support site for thoose 1.4 beta drivers all day. I must be missing something here. I have also contacted TDK support - but so far no reply. Could kindly publish a URL here on the forum or you can email me at: franz@iptelnet.com

Thank you

The TDK 1.4 beta drivers are not publicly available and not on their website. The support does not have the drivers for distribution yet.

FJE, I've got the drivers from a contact who arranged a promotion for Geekzone a few months ago.

Mauricio,

Thank you for your contributions on this subject. I'll will just have to wait until TDK releases the new drivers.

Regards,
Franz.

i have issues with microsoft bluetooth mouse and D-LINK dongle/stack. The pointer is so slow and all applications seem to work slower on my pc now. Also, there are problems with re-connection. I have to take batteries out of the mouse before it would re-connect the bluetooth link. I wonder if it is because I haven't uninstalled the microsoft stack. And what's you experience with microsoft mouse under 1.4.1b6 stack ?

I saw similiar results until I uninstalled both the D-Link and Microsoft software, and then reinstalled just the D-Link software. It will request some files which are not provided on the D-Link CD, but just point the installer to the Mouse\Setup\Files folder on the Microsoft CD. The slow mouse problem has not been seen since.

@Pearl62

Well, you where right, it didn't work. I manage to install the software, because i changed the system.ini file with the one that followed the 1.4 software, and i changed the licence.dat file (wich did not work correctly), but no profiles where installed so i couldn't use it to anything.

Do you know (or anybody else) whether MSI are going to release the 1.4.x software for Msi-6967?

i have an IOGEAR BT USB Adapter, installed the Widcomm Driver downloaded from D-Link site. I cant make my Microsoft BT Mouse & Keyboard BT to work, but its working fine with my iPAQ & Ericssone T39. Does this mean that IOGear doesnt have the HID services? Its not specified to support HID, :) just checking if it could support it after installing 1.4 driver

In my experience (using the TDK 1.4 beta), after installing the driver and pairing the devices you'll have to right-click the icons corresponding to the mouse and keyboard and connect to each one, individually.

This will start the installation of a couple of additional drivers (you'll notice a dialog on top left of your screen while this happens).

You only need a normal search: press the connect buttons in each device (one at a time), do the search, right-click the icon and select PAIR. The dialog will ask you to key some thing in your keyboard and from that point the other drivers will install.
