My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.

Maybe jumping on the TP-Link Bandwagon here but I'd recommend picking up a TP-Link Deco X20, however, I'm not sure if you can purchase single units. This is a mesh system using either wireless or ethernet backhaul.

If you go this route, you have expandability. Say you're in a medium to small-sized home at the moment and 1 Router will cover it all then that's great but say you move to a bigger house, you can go out and purchase another Deco (older or newer model) and slot that into the mesh (this may remove some features depending on the model you add but if you get the same or newer model it's safe to say you'll have same if not more features)

My setup is TP-Link ER605 Wired Router > 2x TP-Link Deco X20 in AP mode (Ethernet backhaul) and with DPI and firewall options enabled on my router, I still get 700Mbps Download and 450Mbps Upload over Wi-Fi.
