It's a long long time since I crimped my own cables. What happens if you swap pairs?

That pair won't work if it is wired incorrectly. Especially problematic if it's the PoE pair. Every wire needs to be correctly in the right place.
So I would either get a 110 tool and re-punch down every outlet and then try again.
Also try connecting up a wired connection to every outlet.
Emergency recap of ethernet wiring required.

I've never wired a patch panel before. Everywhere I worked that bit was already done.
But I can see the patch panel has been colour coded brown-orange-green-blue.
I can see each patch has been punched 1 brown, 2 brown/white, 3 orange, 4 orange/white, 5 green, 6 green/white, 7 blue, 8 blue/white.
So... the RJ45 plugs on the ends of cable 6 and 8, should also be the same pins 1-8? Like for like?
