Cable slacks taking up lots of space in my cabinet at my new house.

I am hoping it'll fit an ONT, ER-X and an 8-port switch.

Cant access that link.

@mrgsm021 you need to change your security settings to allow others to view the image/folder

Mine was exactly the same, just get a bag of cable ties and you'll be able to neaten it up (to something workable). I managed to squeeze in a ONT, ER-4, 8-port switch, etc...

Exactly what I am planning on doing once ONT is in this week.

It ain't pretty. But it works. Hodge-podge of gear collected over various years and specials.

24port managed gig switch, Linksys PAP-2T ATA, Mikrotik RB760iGS router, "Samknows Doodad", and support equipment. All set up to be dismantled quickly given it's a renting situation.

Right, now Ive had official notice that fiber is being installed in my road at the moment, I'll get onto the rack/cupboard. Will measure it up and get some shelving put into place this weekend if things go well......

Will get photos online once I start :)

What's with these piddly "cupboards"? I have a stand-up area under the house about 7 metres by 1! No, I don't have nearly enough to fill it, but no cramming needed!

Access to the rumpus room with most comps in it is easy - poke a whole through the intervening plasterboard wall for the cable!

Get a cable upstairs to the TV corner in the lounge? Drill a hole through the floorboards above!

Sorry, couldn't resist😊

But, really impressed with the neat "cupboards" and professional setups shown here. Well done, guys.

An update on my cabinet after ONT is installed with all my gear in it, bit of a tight squeeze but managed to close the door of the cabinet.

In hindsight, I should have asked the Chorus tech to install the ONT a little further towards the top of the cabinet:

@sparkz25 got it. The switch is brand new, so not in "production" yet. I will have 10GbE to the servers and my desktop machine.
