I'm looking for a Bluetooth 4 USB adapter but can't seem to find any nz retailers selling them.

Anyone know where I could score one..?

Id hope they're legit 4.0 BT. Not fake old 2.0 standard.

They're cheap enough so I'll give it a try.

To my knowledge there are only two companies making a legit BT4 adapter, Bluegiga and Blueradio, neither of which offer it for anything close to that price. Eventually the price point will come down as BT4 becomes more widely accepted.

The guys at tōd are offering the BT4 USB adapter as their new tōd Smart Beacons a new Bluetooth 4.0 Accessory. I know they are also working on a microUSB BT4 adapter for backwards compatibility for older phones.

It might be a solid option.
