For some reason, I can access the internet through bluetooth on my pda about every other day...I have no idea why this is happening. I can Active sync fine, and even file share fine...But I cant seem to connect to the internet at times. I have gone through all the guides here, and everything seems to be right, but It just doesnt work half the time. My pda will just say "connection failed". but If I try in say 8 hours later, it will work beautifully. I was using it this morning b4 my class, but now since Ive gotten home, it isnt working. What can I be doing wrong??

Hmmm. 2.4GHz checklist:

  • wi-fi access points in the vicinity?
  • other (more than 5) Bluetooth piconets (with 7 nodes each) in the vicinity (unlikely, this is more than 35 Bluetooth devices around 10 ~ 20m)?
  • microwave?
  • cordless phone in the 2.4GHz band?
  • Hospital nearby using SCAN equipments in the 2.4GHz (ISM) band?
