hey ppl. i bought the M3000 and people complain about the noice ackground.. could it be the electronic magnetics field that make the bluetooth signal sounds bad??


any1 can help me?

EMF? Do you use this in an area close to hospitals? Do you have a wi-fi AP nearby, or perhaps a 2.4GHz cordless phone?

yeah, i do have a dect wireless phone, do digital wireless phone use band 2.4ghz? wierd if so why do Jabra sells bluetooth headset to cordless phone ?? its a 2.5mm plugg than connect to the phone to ppl can talk handfree ?!?!?


oh btw i do not live close to the hospital :)

All these things I listed are in the 2.4GHz bad. Some will be affected or affect more than others. For instance I was in a place with three wi-fi laptops (with with Bluetooth), a wi-fi AP, my Pocket PC with Bluetooth. A call came in, and the cordless phone was switched on.

The wi-fi network stopped working during the whole time of the call, but my Bluetooth connection (I was copying files from my laptop to my Pocket PC) stayed on and worked ok.

YMMV.

the sound is still bad, i disconnected the wireless fone and have no other wireless devices.........don't know if its the BT software

What kind of processor are you using? Is it a fast one? What load on your machine? There are cases when the CPU usage goes to 100% when some Bluetooth software stop working to give away to other processes. It mostly happens with sound applications.

Laptop: celeron 750mhz load: 20% approx
Big one: AMD 1800xp load 10% .


so you guys never have this kind of prob? thiat's wierd.......could it be the cellphone lol 900mhz/1800mhz/1900mhz nah just kidding, i tested it to record a phonecall and it works fine. wait.......maybe my neighbour???

Sound quality on Bluetooth 1.1 is not the best, in general. This is supposed to be better with bluetooth 1.2, but only now devices are coming out with this specification.
