yet you can buy them with airline adaptors?? Do they go wired when you are on a plane?

Edit: just looked online at some Sennheisers and they do indeed have a cable option.

Bluetooth seems like a bit of a gimmick on "travel" headphones.

Some of them come with a 3.5mm jack and default to wired mode if plugged in.

Sure, just not during take off or landing.

(If wireless stuff could actually cause bad interferrence to plane controls, then there would be planes falling out of the sky every single day, "terrorists" would just turn on their bluetooth stuff and *boom*)

As mentioned above a number come with the option of wired connections for just such reasons.

(reminds me of Nokia World 2007, I mentioned there should be a wired option on their cans-styled bluetooth headset of the day to the product manager who made it, he stared at me blankly, I explained why, next headset of the same style from Nokia? Wired option present)
