I have a dynalink RTA1025w modem/router and an ipod, laptop and andriod mobile that all use wifi from the router.

All of the devices except for the ipod work fine. But the ipod will drop wifi all the time, like 20 plus times a day while I'm using it. All within my lounge where the router is located. Its definitely not a range issue. We have no home phone or anything wireless other than the laptop and andriod phone operating, none of these devices experience any problems. It is driving me nuts, could anyone suggest if there are some settings I could try or something I could do to resolve the issue.

Get a new router or ditch the Apple devices.

I deal with a huge numer of WiFi issues relating to Apple devices, they are a serious PITA.

I have a Vodafone complete modem/router I could try. I've just always used the Dynalink as it gave a better sync than the Vodafone router

I have issues with ipads here too, but no problems with other laptops.

Time to find a new industry!

Totally driving me nuts. Replacing the my ipod and my wifes iphone is no an option for us. Are there any routers that work well with apple products? Or is Dynalink just particularly bad?

The Apple Airport Extreme and Express are both solid products if you want to buy a new router.

Have you tried changing the encryption settings (AES/TKIP) ?
