Hi,

I have a Ambicom Bluwtooth compact flash (BT-2000) on a Pocket PC 2003. I am trying to connect to a bluetooth GPS receiver using this setup but no COM port has been assigned to the Blue Neighbors program (Ambicom BT s/w). How can I create a COM port in PPC 2003? There is no such option (to create COM ports) in Ambicom. Please advice.

Thanks,
MG

Welcome to Geekzone. I am afraid you can't create a COM port. According to the manual (http://www.ambicom.com/support/installation/bt/bt2kcfwincemanual.pdf) this is not supported.

Many thanks for the reply. I think it's my oversight that I upgraded to PPC 2003 (from PPC 2002) without taking this into account. The Ambicom bluetooth card worked fine with PPC 2002.

So, going forward, do you see any options other than buying another compatible CF bluetooth card? And if buying a new card is the only option, would you know which one will work fine with PPC 2003?

Thanks again for doing such a fine job as an administrator.

Regards,
mg
