Hello fellow Bluetooth users! :)
Forgive me for posting on this site, I realise all your problems are difficult and most technical compared to mine! But mine is really quite vital to me since I can't even seem to connect my Belkin bluetooth to my Nokia 6600!!
I've installed all the appropriate software, everything is ready to go and sometimes it appears that my bluetooth and Nokia have actually connected... :-/
HOWEVER, a sign comes up saying that it will connect to COM 0. But where is this COM 0?? I also get messages saying that there's "max no. of connections" and the "remote device closed the connection". All sorts of messages keep popping up before, during and after the connection seemingly appears to be established.
It's really frustrating helplessly sitting in front of the laptop for hours, all because of this COM 0!! When I click properties on 'Devices' and then 'Bluetooth Neighbourhood', it comes up with PORT 4 and the other states it's using PORT 5 which is linked up and being used by bluetooth. It lists ports 4-14 but not PORT 0.
If anyone could direct me to a step by step guide or if anyone can offer some advice on how to set things right, I'll be most grateful.
In fact, Any help will be greatly appreciated... Thank you for reading &/replying
