Hey Geekzone, at the moment I'm looking into buying a modem and router for my next years flat. I'm looking into getting Snaps VDSL internet. It will have 6 people who will probably use the internet a lot for videos and playing online games.
So I thought it would be a good idea to get a specific router to install Gargoyle firmware.
For the modem I was thinking of getting P870H-51V2.

But I'm not sure about the router. Googling around, the WNDR3700 router is recommended a lot. But I'm a bit worried about buying the wrong version. Only v1 and v2 are compatible with gargoyle.

Any help in finding a good set-up would be appreciated, thanks. Smile

Snap is using PPPoE for VDSL2 so you can just get the cheap (relatively) Zyxtel VDSL2 modem/router and bridge it to your router of choice running Gargoyle.
