HEY folkes i have this bluetooth dongle and evertime i try to install it it doesnt work it always come up with this problem :

                          your bluetooth device does not come with licence {6}

                                         
or something like that


I HAVE DONE plent of snooping around but nothing works
i think it is because i HAVE BELKIN BLUETOOTH DONGLE
WHICH USES BROADCOM NOT WIDDACOM

It sounds as you are trying to use the Bluetooth dongle with some other software instead of the original. I suggest you remove all Bluetooth software, unplug the device, reboot and install the original software.

If this is happening with the original software you can always use the Windows XP SP2 Bluetooth software - simply plug the device and Windows will recognise it (make sure you have removed the other Bluetooth software first).

Also, Broadcom and Widcomm are the same company now.

nope im using the cd that came with it

plus, inserting it without installing doesnt work cause windows doesnt regonise it

also im installing the sofware belkin bluetooth software 4.0.1.2401

Check with Belkin. Visit their website and look for the download section, it should have an updated version of their software available for download. Also make sure to reinstall following the instructions I posted before, including the reboots between steps.
