Hi Team,

Can anyone recommend a standalone modem - suitable for business?  I would like it to have a decent hardware firewall and any other protection built in.  Open to suggestions and price range is flexible though i do not want anything with Wifi.

Draytek vigor?

Hi, "Hardware firewall", all firewalls are soft, some chipsets have hardware packet disection assistance which lets the software do things a little faster, but they are still software.

Yes the Draytek option is probably a good option, alternatively a Vigor120 moden feeding a Mikrotik router.

My personal preference would be a Vigor 120 and a pfSense box. You can build an extremely powerful and capable firewall using pfSense and cheap hardware.
