I never use a modem + wireless router. Been using the modem/router combo all the time.

Not sure is that the best basic settings I've done.
Hope anyone can help me tweak a little to make it much better.
I'm confuse on the dhcp both are enable at the moment.

Below is the vigor 120 settings

only ticked that PPPOE-Pass-through. Username & password is greyout.


The DHCP just leave it as default & the rest of the vigor settings are default.

WR941ND (Gargoyle)

and

which the lan dhcp enable too.

That looks all correct. What are your ADSL sync speeds?

The internet light on the Draytek won't light up if it's not actually establishing the internet connection (which it's not when running in bridge mode).

Yeah, everything looks correct in the DrayTek. I'd just be checking the PPPoE details on the router. Usually the generic login is user@xtrabb.co.nz

yeah the Draytek everything in default just ticked the PPPoE Pass-through only.

how do we know if the internet has suddenly down *touchwood* example like suffering an outage, is it the wireless router WAN led light will be off?
need to know just incase for the future lol.
