Hi,

I'm a network engineer from China. I have 3 years

experience in this field and I have got a CCIE in

Routing & Switching. I'm looking for a volunteer

opportunity as a start in NZ. I'm flexible, willing

to learn, have plenty of time available, etc.

Could any GZers give me some help or advice?

Looking for feedback.

Thanks!
Kevin

What city/suburb are you hoping to volunteer in?

With that experience and qualification why do you not just get a job?

Excellent question Zeon.

We're based in Tauranga and seeking some extra network help so PM me and we can discuss further.

I tried to get one and sent my cv to these agencies, but there is no response. I figure maybe cauz I have no NZ work experience.

My friend suggests that it is difficult to get a job without a reference by a senior manager and doing some volunteer job is a good start.

Good luck to you sir! :)

It is a tough market out there even for those with good qualifications. I tried hard and got something. Persistence is key.
