Anyone done a setup up with readynas to ready cloud cant seem to get readycloud to recognise i have a readynas unit

well after 30 mins of screwing around with help line i discover that evn though the unit i hvae is only months old it doesnt work with the netgears readycloud thats for ther e"new" units

So I will have to come up with another scenario to create my own cloud

Grab yourself a router with an Open VPN server in it and you will be good to go. Map the NAS as a network drive and just dial in to your VPN from wherever you are. Hopefully you have at least VDSL otherwise you will get very very sick of having trying to get data off it running at ADSL speeds.

I have a DGND3700 netgear router  so I will check out tomorrow if that will work with your suggestion of which I really appreciate thanx
