As the subject says I have a 4300 series ipaq and cannot get it to browe any of my shared files on my wired lan or run activesync via 802.11

I have downloaded pe pocket 2003, in an attempt to map a network drive, so i can easily share files from my pc and ppc.

I am totaly lost on how to get activesync to work via 802.11

thanks so much

Any firewalls? Also, is your Bluetooth configured to Allow Internet Access or to Allow Private Network?

Not using bluetooh.

Only firewall is in the router.

Ooops. My fault. Is the router's firewall allowing all traffic from within the network (same segment)? You'll need three specific ports to allow ActiveSync to work, and of course the file sharing will need some ports too (139, 135).
