apologies if wrong section.

Just moved house, have adsl but only 1 of the 3 phone jacks work.  Is there any easy way for me to figure out if the other two phone jacks are on a seperate line or if the jacks are faulty.

I want to put the adsl modem in another room with one of the jacks that isn't working.  Would it be easier to just drill a hole in the floor and run a ethernet cable into said room where I want wired lan

Cheers.

If there is a dial tone then more likely there is a master splitter filter installed at demarcation point.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Call in a data cabling company or electrician to get it fixed.

Probably not. You might get disconnect tone.

Just give a local cabling company a call. Or if you are in Auckland PM coffeebaron on here.
