I can hotsync my ux50 via bluetooth, but can't connect to the internet. Can you help me?

When I am connected and try to ping at the bottom of the connection log, it always says host not found.

my ux50 connection settings are as follows:
connect to >PC
Via >Bluetooth
device> my pc

network settings: details>
Connection type: PPP
Idle timeout: Never
Primary DNS: 192 168 121 252
Secondary DNS: 192 168 121 253

automatic IP address
Script:
>End

My computer's network settings are what baffle me. I've never networked before. When I follow your Ux50 internet sharing instructions, I can't connect at all it just keeps chewing on the sign in.... nothing happens.

Have you looked at this article?

Pay special attention to the IP configuration on your desktop. Also make sure all your Palm configuration is exactly like the one shown in the article.

You don't need to enter any IP or DNS configuration on your Clie, everything will be taken care of automatically. I recommend you enter the following script:

And if you're using a personal firewall, make sure it allows local communications. If using Zone Alarm change its settings to Medium, if not already.

I did what you suggested, and I still have the same problem... can hot sync but can't connect to the internet.... or maybe I can, but I can't ping.... I get on Netfront and it has the page I last connected to using a wireless connection. Then it tells me that I am connected (the little z shaped icon Netfront uses is lit) but if I try to go anywhere it tells me that my network connection is not set up properly. By the way, I don't know what the zone alarm thing is or how to change it. Thanks for your help.

Are you able to ping hosts using IP address instead of name?
