I have recently installed insider but can not find the answer in the "Learn" section. I was at my fathers on the weekend and noticed some of the surrounding Wi-Fi AP's were using 2 channels which over lapped channel 1. Why would you set up two channels on the one AP and what are the benefits/detriments?

Thanks

It's AP's which use channel bonding to achieve theoretical bandwidth on 802.11n
