Hi folks,
I have a desktop connecting to internet via an ADSL modem. The desktop run Windows XP w/

SP2. Now I want to share this connection with a laptop via bluetooth. I use a bluetooth

dongle labeled "BTM-USBA-1" with IVT Bluesoleil 3.0 driver. After installing the bluetooth

software, a new network connection is created with a device named "Bluetooth PAN Network

Adapter". But I cannot find the dropdown list "Home Network Connection" on the Local Area

Connection Properties->Advanced page. And when I try to enable ICS, an error message

appears as "An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled. Internet

Connection Sharing cannot be enabled. A LAN connection is already configured with the IP

address that is required for automatic IP addressing". I use the ADSL modem as DHCP server

with the IP range as 192.168.0.2 ~ 192.168.0.254. The following is the output of command

"ipconfig /all":

Is my bluetooth dongle not suitable for such a configuration? Or is this the driver's

fault? Or haven't I done all things right?
Your help will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

You should not try ICS because of the router configuration.

The original configuration should work - you should BRIDGE the connection from the Internet into the Bluetooth adapter.

Thank you for your answer!

In fact, I have two desktops sharing the ADSL connection via a HUB. What does the "router configuration" in your reply refer to?

When I try to bridge the Ethernet connection and the Bluetooth connection, an error box shows with the message "An unexpected error occurred while configuring the Network Bridge".

So what shall I do next?

After I fail to bridge my Ethernet connection with the bluetooth connection, a new device "MAC Bridge Miniport" appears on the "Network adapters" branch in Device Manager. And there's an exclamation mark on it. It seems the driver for this device has not been installed correctly.
So what shall I do to make it work? Thank you!
