hey guys, so I don't know much about this topic but my current D-link DSL-504T Gen II which telecom gave us over 8 years ago (i think) have been giving some serious lag spikes while gaming and when downloading it sometimes disconnects the internet. Was thinking of getting a new one and not sure which to get, thinking of either Netcomm NB304 ADSL2+ Modem/Router or TP-Link TD-8840T ADSL2+ .
I've also read that updating my current firmware of the D-link may help, its currently on V3.02B01T01.NZ.20070321 but I haven't been able to locate an updated firmware yet.
Would anyone be able to suggest which of the 2 products to get, I've read a few bad reviews about the TP-Link but couldn't find reviews of the Netcomm.

Either of those will do a better job than the old DLink imo.
