I am working on a friend's PC and when I hook it up to my router I get the "Limited or No Connectivity" message from the network adapter and cannot access the internet.  I have tried the Winsock Fix, the WinXP SP2 patch and even a different network adapter.  Here's the thing: if I set a static IP to the adapter with the correct gateway address (my router) and the ISP's DNS addresses then I can connect to the internet with no problems, but if I set it to DHCP...nothing.  It needs to be set to DHCP so it will work with her ISP and their cable modem.  Can you help?
