I'm getting all grey haired here folks...

I recently upgraded from a Tungsten|t to a T3 and a Panasonic X70. After 2 weeks, having no luck getting the T3 to connect to GPRS through BlueTooth I returned the X70 and I'm now using a Sony-Ericsson T630. Now I got it all right, I can connect to my cellular network providers GPRS Internet... So far so good, hehe...

So now I'm connected, I start WebPro and what do I get? "DNS lookup timed out!" and similar message in Versamail... VersaMail recommends to enter the mailserver IP, wich I do, and I now access my mail server without problems... So of course I figure I got the wrong DNS servers in my Palm network connection setup... So I get this brilliant idea, I'll use my ordinary analog Internet dial-up... =) ...but after creating the service in the T3, connecting to my dial-up, loging in a.s.o, I get the same message in WebPro... I can still acesss my mail though as I used the IP adress for the mail server... And now I know I have the right DNS servers in the network service setup, I connect daily with these parameters from to different desktop computers, hehe... This kinda sux... ;^)

Anyone got any ideas?

Check your WebPro configuration - remove the Proxy configuration from it...

Well mate, I already did... =(

With the Proxy "checked" the browser goes on hold forewer I guess, just displays connecting...

With the proxy "unckecked" I get msg "Requesting..." and after 30 seconds or so it displays this "DNS Lookup timed out"...

The wierdest thing is that I get this problem with both connections, as well with my Dial-up as with my GPSR connection... And these connections have different DNS-servers (both primary and secondary)... I kinda could of figured that the parameters in the network services setup were incorerect but as the same problem occurs in both connections..??? Man I'm lost, hehe... ;^)

Btw; I also have the possability to enter the DNS in the Sony-Ericsson T630 but with the primary DNS in the phone and no DNS servers in the network services setup I get message "Connection error"... Ugh! =(

Hmmm. You should return your Palm back to the GPRS configuration then, and keep using the *99# (or *99*1# or the CID configuration required). Check the configuration on your mobile phone, because that's where it should be causing problems.
