I'm trying to connect a desktop PC (XP SP1) to an at&t motorola V600 using a tecom BT3030 (1.3.2.7 drivers) and the dial up networking service wont work. Unfortunetly, I need this to work to connect phonetools to the phone and sync stuff. The other phone services like file transfer, connect and work fine and I can discover & pair with the phone, no problem.
Tried looking at the guides, changing the modem phone number to *99#. No dice. It keeps giving me the error:
The Dial-up Networking connection failed: RFCOMM connection failed
What makes this so disturbing is that my toshiba laptop, with quite possibly the worst bluetooth implementation on the planet, connects just fine to the phone with DUN and allows phonetools to work.
Getting to my wits end here. I am considering coughing up the dough for a TDK adpater in hopes the newer drivers solve the problem. Not too hopeful that will work because my ipaq (2215) cant connect to DUN on the phone either, despite following AT&Ts guide on how to do it. Seems like the phone's BT may be at fault. Any other suggestions?
