I see some Christchurch Schools are being tested for WiFi radiation levels..

Can they be serious? ~50mW of 2.4GHz RF energy? this is ridiculous!

Especially when a 2100MHz UMTS phone will output at 125mW when connecting to the network. I hope they're going to ban cellphones as well.

There's another discussion going on... But seriously, this was just debunked in the UK as a result of those tests two months ago  (Health Fears Surrounding Wifi Unfounded,Wi-Fi Health Fears Are Unproven), and they want to spend money and time reinventing the wheel?
