Has anyone been using Mac OSX 10.9 with Telecom's TG589VN Version 2 modem ? and has anyone been using an apple Airport express / extreme alongside it ?

If so, have you been running the express / extreme separately from the modem and connecting the Mac separately, or have you been running them in a series form ?

I am looking at moving to VDSL and was wondering if the TG589VN modem was suitable or substandard, for a good home sharing system along with my express. I currently stream around my property to around 8 to 10 devices.

Any info would be great.
