Is there any special hardware such as wi-fi accespoint to transmit data through a bluetooth connection from a computer/server to multiple mobile phones ?

There are Bluetooth LAN Access Points (have a look in our review section on the Bluetake and Belkin options), but these are for LAN access. They'll work with laptops, desktops and Pocket PC.

Mobile phones in general use the serial profile to talk to a server program. Unless you add a stack to make the phone talk to other services in your Access Point I can't see much being done. Serial profiles as a rule allow only one connection at a time, because they are implemented like COM ports. Of course you can have multiple mobile phones connecting in sequence, but that would be slow.

It all depends on what you want to achieve, really...
