When using the default configuration on your iPAQ it'll show a dialog asking for Accept or Deny the file transfer. Since you say the phone actually start sending the file to your Pocket PC then I assume you have tapped the Accept button. Is that right?

One thing that could be wrong is the folder where this file is being stored. If the folder does not exist on the iPAQ the file transfer happens, but the file is put in \My Documents.
