Has anyone been able to find a working version of luci-app-openvpn or something similar? (Just to be clear, I'm looking for the GUI module for OpenVPN, the backend part/server is there)

I'm wanting to move to OpenWRT because of its modular nature, but the only fall down is there a couple of things, most importantly, the OpenVPN GUI that is missing from the router.

It appears that the luci-app-openvpn package has been broken for some 14 months and, with the limited knowledge I have of OpenWRT, I'm not really in the position to rebuild it like its quite often suggested by other forums I've read.

Can't say I've actually tried it, because I use the openVPN solution from my Amahi home server, but it looks like gargoyle has openVPN options?

Yeah, DD-WRT has OpenVPN as well, but I'm not a big fan of the interface for gargoyle.

I have been using Gargoyle with OpenVPN for quite some time now on my TPLINK 1043ND. The only drawback is that it does not do TAP straight from the UI, TUN works fine.
