My new orcon vdsl router is automatically isolating my wifi devices from communicating with lan devices, even though the box "Client isolation" is unchecked. I have made sure both interfaces are on the same network. When connected to my additional Cisco E3000 AP everything works fine.

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Router's IP: 10.0.0.1

No idea about this device specifically but client isolation typically only isolates wireless clients from connecting to each other, it does not affect WiFi<->LAN connections.

Strange, as I had the same problem a few weeks ago with the Genius UFB router I have had for over 18 months. The wireless clients were isolated from the LAN.

The first power cycle didn't fix it but after a couple more the problem went away. Not really sure what solved it!

No, I don't believe anyone has - as it has been simply to difficult to replicate. By the sounds of it, and from the reading that I have done on here about similar issues it appears that rebooting fixes it, then after some time, it reverts back to not allowing traffic. I will see what logs I can get from my router at home, and if I can get any consistent replication of the issue.

Had a similar issue with a client who asked me to look at her mum's home Vodafone cable connection doing "strange" things.

Had intermittent connectivity issues that were hard to reproduce - did a firmware upgrade and all the other usual things but in the end had to remove the Netcomm router.

Can you login to the Netcomm and check the firmware version?

The default Login for these NF4V's is http://192.168.20.1, credentials will be listed on the back (if you didn't already change them)

On the landing page should be 'Software version'.
Versions ending in 19 and 22 from Netcomm (if you don't want the Orcon image) or ending 29 from Orcon I know fixed this for myself and a friend with the problem.

At first I did think it was a script not parsing changes to be saved/toggled off and on, so I used firebug (Firefox add-on) to analyze the code as a few ISP's do this for other settings on their own router image to block 3rd party SIP and the like.
