Hi Guys,

I have an upstairs /downstairs living, Telecom Thomson modem downstairs, and I already have a cisco e4200 router upstairs.

The kids are downstairs and connect to wifi however the Thomson does not give the ability to set wifi access to certain hours a day and the buggers are staying up later than they should be.

I want a new adsl 2 modem that I can set the wifi/cable access to their devices to cut off at a certain time of the night.

Any recomendations on a make and model wifi modem that will cost under $200 (will also need to be configured to use the e4200 as another wifi access point upstairs

Your $200 budget is unrealistic.
Spend $230 on an ASUS DSL-N55U Wireless N600 Dual Band Modem Router.
Works really well.
