Hi All

I have recently gone to fiber with Telecom, when you go fiber they give you a free HG630b which the technicians set up for you,  since installation it is fair to say I have been less than impressed with the HG630b.

The main problem I have is that I run multiple XBoxes in my home which of course means port forwarding, setting this up with the HG630b is very restrictive essentially it insists on only forwarding a Port for one particular device only therefore if I have a group of XBoxes wich need port forwarding I can only do one of them!!!

Thankfully I did not need to pay for this device otherwise I would be well put out :-) however I also find it to be slower than my previous ADSL connection over my Netgear Wifi so I want to get rid of the HG630b

Does anyone here have any suggestions on which Wifi router would be a good replacement?

You did pay for it, indirectly - the cost is included in your monthly bill, and is spread over the term of your contract.

It was advertised as free and so far as I can see I have not or am not paying for it
