I am connected to the internet by an IPSTAR satellite router. This in turn is connected by cable to a D-Link DAP-1155 wireless router. I wish to be able to monitor the total usage through this router or through the IPSTAR.

I am currently monitoring the broadband usage of my laptop by using Networx freeware.

Can I monitor the IPSTAR (or the D-Link) router so that I can see the total internet usage of all PC's?

You could put a box in between the router and the satellite to monitor traffic....something like untangle in transparent bridge mode would do this.

That's easy with Networx.
Go to the settings screen in Networx.

Under the 'Monitored Interfaces' section, click the option to 'Monitor My Router Rather Than This Computer'.

In addition to monitoring the computer where it is installed, NetWorx supports direct monitoring of your router. This is done by periodical polling of the router and keeping track of the downloads going through it.
